About Terry Mack

After an unpleasant experience with music lessons as a child, Terry spent most of her life thinking she wasn't musical.

At the beginning of her musical journey to overcome her fears and the constant negative voice of her inner critic, Native American flutes “chose” her and helped her free the music in her soul.

The experience was so powerful, that Terry has chosen to dedicate her life to playing the Native American flute and to helping others connect with the flutes and to free the music in their own souls.

Terry's Native American Flute activities include:

• Helping people choose their own Native American flute

• Working with Native American flute makers to provide great sounding flutes at affordable prices

• Running Native American flute “play”shops

• Providing a Native American flute resource web site at www.peacefulspiritflutes.com

• Creating Native American flute training materials

• Writing books about Native American flute players and makers

• Starting a local Native American flute circle and sharing ideas with other flute circles

• Performing with the Native American flute solo and as a member of the eclectic duo, Wind Weaver, weaving the sound of flute with guitar
  

• Writing her own songs with the Native American flute and creating her own music CDs

Terry is grateful to the many flute players, makers and resource developers who have helped her on her journey and she in turn helps other people start their own Native American flute journeys.
