Flute Playshop

Attending a playshop is a fun and interesting way to connect to your flute.

Playshops are two hours in length.

Explore the key components of getting great sound from your flute.

( an easy and fun way to begin playing with another instrument)

Terry Mack offers Native American Flute lessons both individually and in groups.

Terry is a very intuitive player of the Native American Flute. The focus of her lessons is to help you find you way into a real connection with the flute. She shows you breathing techniques, helps you develop finger fluidity with your playing and encourages you to begin to truly listen to the sounds you and the flute produce.

DRUM BEATS TO PLAY ALONG WITH

Playing your flute along with other instruments or sounds is a fun way to continue your exploration and growth as a flute player. Below are two short drum beat files that you can use to practice with.

Playing to a drum beat helps you develop your ability to listen to another sound and find a way to fit in or blend in with the sound and that is one of the hardest skills for many people to develop.
I suggest that you first listen to the beat and start to get a feel for it.
