.  For more information about festivals and locations, visit www.gonefluting.com

People are sharing their music using youtube, blog tv and other internet features.

There are online flute circles in which you can listen to someone on another continent, state or province  far away from your home base and take your own turn to play your music through Pal Talk.

One flute portal offers flute karaoke, a term derived from playing the flute over a track of music and sharing it. Members create their own version of the song and upload it to the site for others to hear.

On another site, you can get involved in a video chat program, sharing music, showing off flutes and having fun just connect to other people who share your interest in these beautiful flutes.

It is exciting to see all of the creative activity that these simple instruments are inspiring all over the world.

See the links in the next column to explore some of the fun things happening with the flutes.
